The agreement
These terms are between you and GAZIA CONSULTING LTD (Efesou 9, 5280 Paralimni, Famagusta, Cyprus), which operates CollectMap. Using the site means you accept them.
What CollectMap is
A catalogue of collectible items and a place to record which of them you own. It is free. We do not sell items, process payments, hold stock, or ship anything.
Your account
You need to be at least 16. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person.
Your photos
You keep ownership of every photo you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to store, display, resize and adapt that photo within CollectMap and in material promoting it. Adapting means cropping, compressing and colour-correcting for display — nothing more.
You confirm that each photo is yours to license: that you took it, or that you hold the rights to it. Do not upload photos taken from other websites, from sellers' listings, or from other collectors.
We may select one photo per catalogue entry as the catalogue photograph. Where we do, we credit you by username on that entry. Selection is editorial and we are not obliged to explain a choice.
You can delete your photos at any time.
Catalogue contributions
You can propose new catalogue entries. Once verified and published, an entry becomes part of the shared catalogue and stays there even if you later delete your account — the catalogue is a common resource and cannot be dismantled one contribution at a time. Your name stays attached to what you documented unless you ask us to remove it.
Trades between users
Collectors arrange trades and sales directly with each other. We are not a party to any of it. We do not verify that a piece exists, that it is in the stated condition, that it is genuine, or that anyone will send anything. We do not handle payment, shipping, insurance or disputes.
Collection data is self-reported. Rarity figures are calculated from what users tell us they own and are an indication, not a valuation or an authentication.
Trade at your own risk, and use your judgement about who you deal with.
What you may not do
Upload photos you do not have the rights to. Submit deliberately false catalogue entries. Create multiple accounts to influence rankings or badges. Scrape the site or hit it automatically at volume. Harass other users. Use CollectMap to advertise unrelated products or services.
We can suspend or remove an account that does these things.
Achievements
Badges, rankings and cohort seats are recognition only. They carry no monetary value, cannot be transferred or sold, and we may adjust or withdraw them where they were obtained by misuse.
Our liability
CollectMap is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that the catalogue is complete or accurate, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything arising from a trade between users. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing here affects the statutory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you want. We can close an account that breaches these terms, and will say why unless doing so would compromise an investigation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and may bring proceedings there.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date. Continuing to use CollectMap after a change means you accept it.
